Elisha's Home Haiti Mission Trip 2007
These children are precious in Jesus' sight. As His followers it's our duty to take care of them.
These children are very poor and orphaned because the poverty in Haiti is so tremendous that parents cannot take
care of their children. They are just abandoned for the church to care for them.  Pastor Juste and his passion for
Jesus, saves these children from certain death. Elisha's Home monthly support to Pastor Juste helps the children
have clothing, food, shelter and Christian schooling. The task of taking care of these children is not easy for poverty
stricken Haiti and they need much help. This year the men from Elisha's Home that went to Haiti, brought with
them, tooth bruses and tooth paste, which is a luxury in Haiti.  They also brought each of the children a McDonalds
Happy Meal toy.. which will be their only toy for the whole year, they also were able to have a piece of candy each
that was donated by The Ronald McDonald House.  The children didn't even know how to play with the toy. One day
the men saw the children kicking around an old grapefruit, so they decided to get out the sports balls that they had
brought with them. The children's eyes lit up at the sight of the balls and they had such a great time playing with
them.  Everyday some of these babes get turned away at meal time because there is just not enough food to feed
them all.
That is not acceptible!  Please pray for Pastor Juste and these children and if the Lord has led you and
you would like to help meet the needs of these children,  please call Elisha's Home for more information at
570-278-5078 or  by
email.
Thank you.
